Permaculture is an ethical design science . We can use Permaculture design ethics and principles to design, houses, gardens, farms, cities, parks, businesses even whole economies. Its simple in its approach and yet deep in its applicability. A set of tools that will help you with many tasks.
Permaculture ethics and principles can be applied to all human systems. The answer is yes, permaculture is for everyone.
There is a certain amount of, it depends to this question. It depends on how big your property is, but if you are thinking in terms of a food garden for a family, then the answer is a couple of hours a week will be more than enough to get a nice food harvest.
Agriculture is a broad term, so certain aspects of Permaculture fit under it, you might be familiar with the term regenerative agriculture, that is certainly one of the tools in Permaculture, but there are many more.
The best place to start a design, is to observe as long as possible your site and make notes that will help you make great decisions. Once you see how things can link together by observation, the site will almost design itself.
We can take simple steps to help us take good decisions and design amazing gardens and farms, that are highly productive and allow us to have independence away from the major food chains.
